INTRODUCTION
Regional Meetings are important for collaboration in the very different regions in the worldwide IFKF network. The meetings are informal, and take one or two days. They are a tool to share knowledge and best practices, contribute directly to patients’ care and improve the quality of input of foundations into the health care system.
Regional Meetings contribute to less fragmentation of efforts, improve position and power. They are very important for those small organisations which have difficult access to international meetings due to a vulnerable financial position. Regional sponsors are interested in regional meetings as a platform to share mutual interests.
Regional Meetings build more awareness and brand recognition for IFKF in the region.
