Vision

Improvement in the quality of life and quality of care for all at risk of, or suffering from, kidney disease regardless of race, colour, creed or social class.

Mission

To foster international collaboration and exchange of ideas between local kidney foundations and not for profit organisations to enable and help empower local membership organisations to improve health, well being and the quality of life of all individuals at threat from kidney disease.  (See full version of ByLaws)

Scope

  • Advocacy for improved health care delivery
  • Highest possible outcomes of care
  • Facilitation of education programs for and from member organisations
  • Promotion of research into kidney disease
  • Fostering an environment of open communication and exchange of ideas among organisations
  • Creating a forum for collaborative fundraising and foster improvement of local Kidney Foundations
  • Assistance with the establishment of new Kidney Foundations where they do not currently exist
  • Act as a global voice on kidney health issues
